You might have noticed our daily words have been quite fantastic these past few days. We owe it all to the wonderful Basic Needs of Canada. A striking combination of photography and typography has us inspired in more than one way.

The pieces are simple, poetic and certainly rejuvenating in palette and tone. Most of the prints are $20 and we know as soon as we make the move into a new house, we'll be purchasing a few to adorn our own walls. The question is which piece - they are all so appealing and striking in their own way.

Nourish: Inner Child

Sometimes we have to remind ourselves to nourish our inner child.

To peel back the layers of the real world and reveal our true colors.

To ponder, to write, to scribble endlessly.

Even better if we nourish our inner child with our own children.

Showing them the joy in expressing ourselves.

The freedom to be creative.
