Wedding Fever

It's that time of year, where we are busy with last minute wedding details for the very hectic and very happy "wedding season" of Memorial Day through Labor Day. While we are too {happily} busy to post any of the fabulous details for this weekends affair, we will give you a few weddings to peruse. Along with a few quirky wedding ideas to muse.
  • A Florida wedding featuring my favorite color {blue} - and they happened to incorporate my husband's favorite colors too {garnet & gold}
  • Waterside in Cherry Creek - how great is that?!
  • Oh Spain, how we miss you so {very} much
  • And one interesting take on Preppy meets Hippy

Back to Back

We are back from a three city trip that included family, family and a lot of work. A few things that we enjoyed during our last stop in Manhattan included...

A delish dinner at Diablo Royale...

An impromptu stop at Magnolia for a delicious cupcake (or two).
Side note: They start shipping this summer to your hometown! Yeah!

Just came across these great cards on etsy from U Lucky Girl and we are loving them. Perfect timing for Cinco de Mayo and perhaps a little inspiration for dinner tonight?!? Stop by and check out her other cards...we're thinking we might have to get some in the store ASAP!

A Perfect Pair

We already told you all about the dog's run in with the garden edging. What drama. We looked around our inventory for a doggy get well card and could not find one. Perhaps there is a niche market there?Anyways...what we didn't share was what happened the very next day. More drama. Here it is...

In all it's glory after the swelling (and tears) went away. This is what happens when you chase your little sister around the house. And she is faster than you. And you fall in exactly the wrong spot.

At least purple is this bruisers favorite color. And she has a buddy to commiserate with.

If you love paper and books as much as we do, you might be excited to learn of a new scent coming soon. Karl Lagerfeld is developing a fragrance that smells of books. Yes, that classic and sentimental paper scent we don't often smell due to these digital times. Reports are he is a lover of books and has a collection of more than 300,000 tomes! So naturally this perfume will be packaged in, you guessed it, a book. Put away that library card because this is one book you'll need your credit card for.
